Baltimore, MD – Oct. 17, 2023 – After a week of hard work making logistical arrangements, collecting, sorting, and packing toys and activities for children in Ashkelon's bomb shelters, 40 suitcases will be personally flown to Israel tomorrow by two incredible volunteers from the Chabad Israeli Center community. Many wonderful volunteers from all parts of the community joined together in this effort. Special thanks to Huppit Miller for spearheading and running this project, and to Orly Moving for donating their warehouse, moving boxes, and transporting the suitcases to the airport.
"It was an incredible project that reflected the unity and connection of the entire Jewish community in Baltimore," said Rabbi Shmuel Gurary of Chabad Israeli Center, who worked diligently to make this happen. "May this Achdut be the final Mitzvah needed to bring about the Geulah immediately.
