Furthermore, IDF artillery struck the area from which the launch originated."

Wednesday, 12:12 p.m.: Sirens sound in Ashkelon and its environs.

Wednesday, 11:34 a.m.: The IDF has attacked the Islamic University in Gaza, located in Gaza City. The unversity serves as a central training center for Hamas engineers.

Wednesday, 10:34 a.m.: Forces identified that an antitank missile was fired from Lebanon towards an Israeli military position.

Wednesday, 10:29 a.m.: An IDF spokesperson has reported that the bodies of 1,000 terrorists have been found. It is estimated that there are hundreds more.

Wednesday, 9:35 a.m.: Following the rocket fire on Sderot, Magen David Adom has provided first aid to a 40-year-old man who suffered moderate injuries.

In addition, there have been four direct hits on buildings in Sderot.
