The political power couple, who have been prominent figures in Baltimore politics for over a decade, did not immediately comment on the matter. The divorce filing was reported by the Baltimore Brew. Marilyn Mosby, facing legal issues after losing the 2022 Democratic primary, has pending federal charges of perjury and mortgage fraud. She denies the allegations, claiming selective prosecution based on her race and politics. Meanwhile, Nick Mosby has been serving as city council president since 2020, previously representing Maryland's 40th District in the state House of Delegates and Baltimore's 7th District on the City Council.
