Baltimore, MD - June 29, 2023  - (WMAR2News) A Code Red Air Quality Alert has been issued for central Maryland due to unhealthy atmospheric particles affecting the entire population, particularly those with lung/heart conditions. People are advised to limit outdoor time. Smoke from Canadian wildfires will create smoky skies with high temperatures in the upper-80s. Scattered showers and potential storms are expected from Friday evening into the weekend due to a lifting warm front, with rising humidity and temperatures in the upper-80s. Expect temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s next week with more possible scattered showers and storms.
