Baltimore, MD - Apr. 27, 2023  -  Another violent crime wave swept the streets of Baltimore City Tuesday, with at least 12 people shot in the span of just twelve hours.

The series of separate shootings touched nearly every corner of the city, hitting five of Baltimore’s nine police districts.

Among the victims, a 28-year-old man was found dead mere minutes after a triple shooting that injured a 14-year-old boy. Dozens and dozens of evidence markers were seen littering the ground where the teen was struck. Hours later, another triple shooting would spill more blood on Baltimore’s streets.

Meanwhile, Wednesday at a public safety hearing at city hall scheduled to discuss crime reduction and violence prevention was suddenly canceled.
