Baltimore, MD - Sept. 1, 2022 - LifeBridge Health is pleased to announce that Rabbi Jeffrey Orkin now serves as interim Director of Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy Services of LifeBridge Health.
Rabbi Orkin joined LBH in August, 2001 as Pastoral Director of Levindale. While in this position, Rabbi Orkin developed many intergenerational programming and services involving the Jewish day schools and the Women’s Auxiliary, and was an integral member of the Medical Ethics Committee.
Prior to joining LifeBridge Health, Rabbi Orkin worked as Director of Chaplaincy for the Jewish Home and Care Center and Chai Point Independent and Assisted living facilities in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for seven years.
Rabbi Orkin is a graduate of Brandeis University, earned his Masters of Social Work from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and received his rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Isaac Elchonon Theological Seminary-Yeshiva University.
