With profound sadness, NCSY mourns the passing of Mrs. Elaine Stolper, a"h, who passed away on Friday afternoon. Together with her husband Rabbi Pinchas Stolper, zt"l, who was the first full-time national director of NCSY, Mrs. Stolper impacted the lives of tens of thousands of Jewish teens. The Stolpers' home was open to Jewish teens of all backgrounds, and Mrs. Stolper's warm example and belief in the limitless potential of each teen were legendary.

The levaya was held this morning in Chicago. The kevurah will be held tomorrow, Monday, July 11th in Israel at Har Menuchot. The kevurah will begin at approximately 7:00 pm Israel time. Thereafter, Mrs. Michal Cohen and Rabbi Akiva Stolper will return to Chicago and to New York, respectively, where they will sit shiva for the remainder of the week.

Mrs. Stolper was the wife of the late Rabbi Pinchas Stolper, zt"l, and mother of Rebbetzin Michal Cohen, Rabbi Akiva Stolper, and Malki Kaweblum a"h.

Tehi zichra barucha. May her memory be a blessing.
