Baltimore, MD - May 30, 2022 - The Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland-Chabad (JUSA) and the Jewish War Veterans of Maryland hosted a Kaddish Memorial Day Service at the Jewish Section in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, one of the only such ceremonies in the country.
Over 60 veterans, elected officials and community members attended the meaningful service led by Rabbi Chesky Tenenbaum, director of Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland, Chaplain Major of the Maryland Defense Force and JWV. The service started with the reading of the names of Jewish service members that lost their lives since 9/11 by JWV Maryland commander COL Erwin Burtnick and Rabbi Chesky Tenenbaum.
It was followed by heartful Kel Molei and mourners Kaddish in memory of our fallen Veterans and heroes.
