Mosby's Legal Defense Fund website down amid pressure from city Ethics Board

 Baltimore City Council President Nick Mosby and Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby's joint legal defense fund website is not currently in operation. The webpage displays a statement "maintenance mode on " with no other options available on the site.

A Donorbox site apparently connected to the Mosbys (donorboxorg/the-mosby-s-2021-trust) is also down. It displays an error indicating the page is not available.

FOX45 News has reached out to the city council president for comment.

The change comes after Thursday's ruling from the Baltimore City Ethics Board that found Nick Mosby violated rules regarding a legal defense fund created to help him and his wife, Marilyn Mosby, to offset the cost of legal fees during a federal investigation.

In January 2022, Marilyn Mosby was federally indicted on two perjury and two false mortgage application statement charges. Her trial is set to begin in September. To date, Nick has not been charged in that case.

The report also confirmed some of the contributors of the fund also conduct business with Baltimore City.
