COVID-19 In Maryland 277 New Cases; 12 Deaths In 24 Hours

The Maryland Department of Health released updated coronavirus numbers Wednesday morning.

As of 10:00 a.m., there are 1,005,333 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maryland, 277 new cases have been reported since Tuesday.

The statewide positivity rate is 1.6%, decreased by 0.01%.

Hospitalizations have decreased statewide by 2, bringing a total of 284 people hospitalized.

A total of 60 patients are being treated in the ICU, 2 are pediatric.

There have been 13,955 of COVID-19 deaths in the state. To date, 12 Maryland residents have died from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Roughly, 95% of the state’s population age 18 and up has gotten one dosage of the vaccination, and 11,415,355 doses have been administered.
