Baltimore, MD - Nov. 15, 2021 - The Jewish War Veterans of Maryland and Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland (JUSA) hosted a Veterans Day Kaddish Service at the Jewish Section in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, one of the only such ceremonies in the Nation. Over 40 veterans and community members attended the meaningful service led by Rabbi Chesky Tenenbaum, director of Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland-Chabad and Chaplain of the Jewish War Veterans of Maryland. The service started with commander of the Jewish War Veterans of Maryland COL Erwin Burtnick, USA (Ret), welcoming everyone to the service and speaking about the uniquness of the Jewish section at the Veterans Cemetry. It was followed by the Kaddish in memory of our fallen Veterans and heroes.
