Baltimore, MD - Aug. 26, 2021 - Now is the time to make sure you and your family are healthy and safe -- for work, school, and the Yomim Noraim. Get vaccinated now. The Baltimore City Health Department will host a Walk-up COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic in the Seven Mile Market parking lot this Wednesday, September 1st, from 11:00am-3:00pm, offering Pfizer vaccines for ages 12+ and the one-dose J&J vaccine for ages 18+. It will be in a comfortable air conditioned tent. Everyone who gets vaccinated will receive a FREE $10 Dunkin Donuts Gift Card. Please find a few minutes to take care of this important health issue and ensure the safety of you and all those around you. Click here to see the full flyer for details.

Even if you’ve already had COVID-19, experts recommend that you get a vaccine as not everyone has the same immune response. COVID-19 vaccines offer better protection than natural immunity alone and that vaccines, even after prior infection, help prevent reinfections.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) strongly supports vaccination for pregnant and non-pregnant women, as studies show the vaccine is safe for mother and baby. Pregnant women have a higher risk of serious issues from COVID, so it’s extra important to be protected. The vaccine will not affect your chances of becoming pregnant. COVID-19 vaccines remain safe and effective.

As the number of the Delta variant cases rise daily, please make sure you are not one of those that contract COVID-19. The virus does not discriminate by age, and it does not only affect people with underlying conditions – healthy people get COVID-19 at varying degrees of severity. Vaccines prevent severe illness, hospitalization, and death. Additionally, even among the uncommon “breakthrough” cases of COVID-19 among the fully or partially vaccinated, vaccines make people more likely to have a milder and shorter illness compared to those who are unvaccinated. Getting vaccinated now makes it harder for Delta, and possible future variants, to develop and multiply.
