Baltimore, MD - Aug. 20, 2021 - Learning becomes a whole lot easier when you have the right tools, including school supplies like backpacks, notebooks, pencils/pens, and more.
Unfortunately, Jewish Community Services serves many local families affected by financial hardship who cannot afford the supplies their children need. To ensure every child has a good start to the school year, JCS is hosting a Community School Supply Drive.
Because we are continuing to exercise precautions due to COVID, JCS will not be collecting and distributing school supplies this year. Instead, we are asking for monetary donations. With these, JCS will provide families with store gift cards they can use to buy their children the school supplies they need.
Tax-deductible donations will be a gift that sends students into school better prepared to learn and thrive. These donations can be made at jcsbalt.org/donate/toy-closet or mailed to Jewish Community Services, 5750 Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21215 (attn: School Supply Drive).
