Israeli Business Leaders Farewell To President Rivlin (Photo Essay)

Jerusalem, Israel - June 24, 2021  - As the end of Israeli President Reuven Rivlin's seven-year term approaches, each day includes farewells. On Wednesday evening, June 23, 2021, a farewell was held at Beit Hanasi for the Presidium of Israeli Business Organizations and the Socio-Economic Forum. 

President Rivlin told the business leaders in the main hall, "We may be parting, but I am not abandoning our shared vision and mission. Thank you all." 

 Chair of the Presidium of Israeli Business Organizations Dubu Amitai and Anat Zinger Dan of Business Roundtable Israel delivered remarks at the event. CEOs, chairs, and business leaders from Israel’s largest companies, representatives of government ministries, and heads of NGOs participated, including the CEOs of Intel, Google, Strauss Israel, Netafim, and HOT.  

President-elect of the State of Israel Isaac Herzog will be sworn in at the Knesset on Wednesday, July 7,  2021 / 27 Tammuz 5781 in the afternoon. 

After, President Isaac Herzog will arrive at Beit HaNasi where he will be welcomed by the outgoing president in an official handover ceremony. Such an event is to be held for the first time in the history of the presidency. During the ceremony, the 10th President of the State of Israel, Rivlin will hand the presidential standard to the 11th President of the State of Israel, Isaac Herzog.
