Vaccine Peer Ambassadors – You Can Make A Difference

Baltimore, MD - May 30, 2021 - The VALUE Baltimore Initiative is actively recruiting motivated and energetic individuals within the Orthodox Jewish community in Baltimore City to join a team of Vaccine Peer Ambassadors tasked with community outreach and vaccine education.  As a part of this team, you will take on an additional leadership role within your community and have the opportunity to make a difference in public health outcomes among your friends, family, and the city as a whole.

• Are you passionate about encouraging people to get vaccinated?
• Do people find you compelling and listen to what you have to say?
• Are you social media savvy?
• Do you have strong social networks within your community?
• Do you want to be an integral part of getting our community to open up more safely?

This is a paid, part-time, short-term, opportunity for a few people to make a difference in our Orthodox community. Become a Vaccine Peer Ambassador by joining the VALUE Baltimore Initiative, a joint venture including the Baltimore City Health Department and vital partner organizations.  As an ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to co-create educational materials for your peers, educating others about the vaccine and how to access resources safely and conveniently.

We are actively building a small team of individuals with a broad range of experiences, including men and women aged 20-35, pregnant women, community youth leaders, and individuals who contracted COVID-19 and have since received a vaccination.  If you fit into one or more of these categories, please contact Laura Kurcfeld at LKurcfeld@associated.org for more information and to discuss if this opportunity is right for you.
