Baltimore, MD - May 14, 2021 - Yesterday, several hundred Baltimoreans gathered at the 695 overpass on Stevenson Road to publically express their unequivocal support for the people of Israel, and for Israel’s right to defend itself against the rockets launched against Israel’s cities and towns from the Gaza Strip.
Lining both sides of the street and the median dividing the street, the enthusiastic crowd waved flags and held signs, drawing horn-blows of support from cars driving along Stevenson Road, and heading northbound and southbound on the beltway. Words of prayer and inspiration were delivered at the rally by Rabbi Shmuel Gurary, Rabbi Yisrael Motzen, Rabbi Chai Posner, andd Cantor Avi Albrecht led the singing of Am Yisrael Chai, Hatikva and the Star Spangled Banner.
The rally was organized by the Baltimore Zionist District and Stand With Us.
