Jerusalem, Israel - Apr. 26, 2021 - The sky was blue, the sun was shining, the wind was blowing strongly on Monday, April 26, 2021, י''ד אייר for Pesach Sheni 5781, in Yerushalayim.
Flags were flying, lining the way on a visit to the Old City. New signs have been posted showing the way to walk through the Jewish Quarter and Rova.
The dividers have been replaced by the men's section at the Kotel plaza to separate the minyanim. On Monday, bar mitzvah celebrations were held most of the day. School groups and student tours have restarted after a year of corona restrictions.
The daylight hours have been quiet in the Old City. The violent attacks against Jews have occurred after dark after the Ramadan fast day ended.
Slowly Yerushalayim is returning to life, to normal, preparing for Lag B'Omer and Yom Yerushalayim beginning on May 9th.
