Vaccine found to greatly reduce hospitalizations, severe cases and deaths in population
The COVID-19 vaccine is 95.8 percent effective in preventing infections, Israel's Health Ministry reported on Saturday.
The assessment was based on comparing the stats for Israelis who received both the prime and the booster shots against the data for those that did not receive the vaccine at all.

The report accounted for the period up to February 13, the ministry said.
The vaccine was found to be 98 percent effective in preventing symptomatic disease, the ministry added, and 98.9 percent effective in preventing hospitalizations.
