Dec. 16, 2020 - Wednesday evening's event has been cancelled due to impending snow storm.

Baltimore, MD - Dec. 11, 2020 - Chai Lifeline has never made a Channuka party in the Mid-Atlantic Region. At least, not a party in the traditional sense.

Each year, Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic hosts what can only be described as a glorified bonanza. A fiesta. An uplifting event of epic proportions that never ceases to amaze and dazzle the families they steward. The venues they secure are always unique and simply magical, transporting families facing the tragic effects of pediatric illness to a world of laughter and joy. It’s always breathtaking, and never the same. Each year they reinvent themselves, ensuring that their children - if only for a moment - have the light of childhood wonder ignited in their eyes. It’s otherworldly.

This year, Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic is swinging the doors wide open and inviting the entire community to experience the spectacle. In a year that has left so many isolated and distant, their upcoming drive-through light show is a welcome necessity during these often dark times.

On Tuesday (December 15th) and Wednesday (December 16th), Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic invites the entire community to a free drive-through light show between 6:00 - 9:00 PM at the JCC of Greater Baltimore in Owings Mills. Witness the extraordinary talent and devotion of their high school volunteers as you drive by 30 custom-built displays featuring animatronics and LED lighting.

Chai Lifeline has never made a Channuka party in the Mid-Atlantic Region. At least, not a party in the traditional sense. Which makes sense, really. Over the last five years, the Mid-Atlantic Region of Chai Lifeline has fast established itself as being the creative hub of the international health-support network.

This Channukah, come on by and see for yourself.
