Report: Palestinian Authority To Return Envoys To UAE, Bahrain

The Palestinian Authority (PA) will reportedly send their ambassadors back to the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain following a months-long protest over their decision to normalize ties with Israel, according to Israeli media sources.

In September, the PA recalled their envoy to Bahrain after announcing they would join the UAE in establishing historic diplomatic ties with Israel via the Abraham Accords, calling it a “betrayal of Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian issue.”

Palestinian leaders had done the same a month earlier with their representative in Abu Dhabi.

The development comes just as the Palestinian Authority announced that it would renew its security coordination with the Jewish state after halting ties earlier this over Israel’s now-defunct plans to apply sovereignty over parts of the West Bank and Jordan Valley.
