The Rabbinical Alliance of America — Igud HaRabbonim, representing over 950 American rabbis — congratulates Rabbi Dr. Joseph Frager on receiving Semicha (rabbinical ordination) from Kollel Ayshel Avraham Rabbinical Seminary headed by its Rosh Kollel, HaGaon HaRav Yaakov Spivak, Shlit’a, who is also a Presidium Member of the Igud HaRabbonim.

Rabbi Dr. Joseph Frager has worked tirelessly for the global Jewish community for over 35 years. His efforts and achievements are legendary. Remarkably, he has done this while maintaining a busy medical practice and raising an extraordinary family. In recognition of Rabbi Frager’s accomplishments and anticipation of his future achievements, Igud HaRabbonim has appointed him as the Chairman of its Israel AdvocacyCommission to lead the organization in enacting meaningful change.

Rabbi Mendy Mirocznik, executive vice-president of the IgudHaRabbonim stated that, “Igud HaRabbonim has a long-standing relationship with Rabbi Dr. Joseph Frager. Rabbi Dr. Frager served the Igud HaRabbonim as a medical advisor for modern Halacha issues as well as an advisor on issues of security as they pertain to Eretz Yisrael. Now, in his newly minted status as an Orthodox rabbi, Igud HaRabbonim is honored and fortunate to have Rabbi Dr. Frager join us as a member. We look forward to continue working closely with Rabbi Dr. Joseph Frager in the years ahead in advocating for the Jewish community and State of Israel in his new role as Chairman of our Israel Advocacy Commission. We are confident that Rabbi Dr. Frager will make a big Kiddush Hashem that will bring much pride to the Jewish Community worldwide.”
