Baltimore County Police To Activate 4 New Speed Cameras

TOWSON, Md. — Baltimore County police will activate four new speed camera locations on Friday.

According to officials, the county police department will activate four new speed camera locations in the following school zones:

For the first 30 days, motorists exceeding the speed limit by at least 12 mph will receive warnings rather than citations, officials said. All speed camera zones are marked with signage.

Officials said in compliance with state law, Baltimore County’s speed cameras operate Monday through Friday between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., including during the summer months and on weekdays when school is not in session.
