Palestinian media reported on Sunday evening that Israeli authorities had decided to reduce the fishing zone back to six nautical miles.
This comes after five fires were started along the Gaza border, apparently following the launches of incendiary balloons from Gaza into Israeli territory.
Israel has used the size of the fishing zone as a means of retaliating against the launch of incendiary balloons into its territory, without great success.
