Baltimore, MD - Apr. 18, 2019:

Dear Mispalelim,

We would like to keep everyone apprised of the latest information regarding the safety of our community and congregants.  The potential exposure was limited to April 13th, 2019  from 11:30am - 3:00pm, when Naftali may have been brought into shul. We recommend that anyone concerned with potential exposure consult their physician for further guidance.

Yesterday, at the request of Rabbi Eichenstein, a team from the Baltimore City Health Department and the Maryland Department of Health visited the shul to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the separation between the residence and the shul.  They confirmed through a battery of testing, that there is no air flow between the residence and the shul and that there is complete separation of ventilation systems. Thus ensuring that the only known exposure at this time was on April 13, at the times specified above.

Rabbi Eichenstein and the congregants would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Melina Turtle of BCHD and the team at Maryland Department of Health for their swift action and attention to detail in investigating this matter.  We are fortunate to have such dedicated public service people working tirelessly to protect the safety of our community.  If you have any questions you are welcome to call the Baltimore City Health Department at 410-396-4436 or after business hours and on weekends at 410-396-3100.

Sincerely,
