Maryland state health officials say delayed shipments of COVID-19 vaccines should being to arrive here on Monday. Acting Assistant Health Secretary Bryan Mroz told WBAL News Radio this week that bad weather in Tennessee and Kentucky, where much of the vaccine is manufactured, has delayed shipments for clinics scheduled for next week.

In a news release Saturday, Maryland Department of Health officials reported that federal vaccine distributors are working through the weekend to catch up on back orders, and Pfizer and Moderna back orders will be delivered to providers on Monday. Officials say Moderna vaccines not delivered by Monday are expected to be delivered by Wednesday. Read more at WBAL
