Israel’s downward trend of the spread of COVID-19 continued on Monday

Israel’s so-called coronavirus cabinet on Monday approved a plan to reopen malls, street shops, gyms, hotels, sporting events and cultural institutions on Sunday, February 21.

Those who have received both doses of the vaccine or have recovered from COVID-19 will be granted entry to gyms, sporting and culture events, hotels, swimming pools and museums.

Only members of the same family will be allowed to celebrate Purim together and gatherings will be forbidden. 

As of Friday, the synagogues will be able to accommodate 10 people indoors and 20 outdoors. Read more at i24
