A day after his new restrictions on indoor dining take effect, Gov. Larry Hogan is set to hold another news conference on COVID-19.

At the 4 p.m. Thursday news conference, Hogan is expected to provide an update and discuss new investments and initiatives related to the response.

At 5 p.m. Wednesday, a new order issued Tuesday by Hogan went into effect. The order cut indoor dining from 75% of capacity to 50% of capacity. New health orders urged Marylanders to avoid out-of-state travel to much of the country as coronavirus cases, hospitalizations and deaths in Maryland continued to rise.
