Jerusalem, Israel - Aug. 31, 2024 - On Friday night, two separate terrorist attacks occurred in the Gush Etzion area, resulting in injuries to three people.
The first incident took place at 11:22 p.m. near the gas station at the Gush Etzion junction, where two men were shot. A 24-year-old man sustained moderate injuries with gunshot wounds to his lower body, while a 34-year-old man suffered mild injuries with gunshot wounds to his limbs. Both were evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center by Magen David Adom (MDA) teams. The attacker at the scene was neutralized by security forces.
Shortly after, at 11:41 p.m., a second attack occurred when a vehicle breached the entrance to the Karmei Tzur community in Gush Etzion. A 28-year-old man was lightly injured in the chest when the attacker’s vehicle collided with his. MDA teams provided medical treatment at the scene and evacuated the injured man to a hospital. The attacker was eliminated by security forces.
Magen David Adom and IDF forces were involved in responding to both incidents.
