Israel's foreign ministry on Tuesday dismissed accusations by the US-based NGO Human Rights Watch (HRW), which claimed Israel is committing the crime of "apartheid" by seeking to maintain Jewish "domination" over Palestinians and its own Arab population.

"We know that this organization has an anti-Israel agenda, which for years has sought to promote a boycott against Israel," the ministry said in a statement.

"Their decision not to seek any comment from any Israeli authority is a clear indication that this is an unreliable propaganda pamphlet," it added.

The 213-page report charges that the Israeli government is the "single authority" with primary control "over the area between the Jordan River and Mediterranean Sea." Read more at Arutz-7
