Tehran to bar IAEA from inspections at non-nuclear sites, including those suspected of undeclared activity

Iran on Monday hailed the agreements reached during the weekend's visit of the UN nuclear watchdog as a "significant achievement." 

In his remarks, Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that the outcome of the talks was "within the framework of the parliament's binding law," referring to a bill passed earlier that urged Iran to limit the inspections of its nuclear sites.

Under an interim accord reached this weekend, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will continue to inspect Iran's nuclear facilities.

For at least three months, however, the agency will not be able to access other locations with visits -- including those suspected of use for nuclear research. Read more at i24
