Muscat's Foreign minister stressed willingness to broker talks between Washington, Tehran

Oman will not rush to imitate its Gulf neighbors, the UAE and Bahrain, and strike a normalization deal with Israel as it was “content” with its current ties with Jerusalem, Muscat's top diplomat said Thursday, news agency Reuters reported.

Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi stressed that “As regards Israel, we are content so far with the level of our current relations and dialogue, which involves the appropriate channels of communication.”

Busaidi added that his country was committed to peace between Israel and the Palestinians based on a two-state solution. Read more at i24
