UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is now in self-isolation after possible exposure to COVID-19 coronavirus, Johnson said late on Sunday.

In a tweet, the PM revealed that he had been contacted by the Test and Trace system, run by the National Health Service, which warned him he had been in contact with a confirmed patient.

Johnson said he had not developed any of the symptoms associated with the disease and will continue to work from the isolation.

According to UK media, Thursday saw Johnson, who had already recovered from the coronavirus once, speak with lawmaker Lee Anderson, who subsequently tested positive, for at least half an hour. Read more i24
