NEW YORK (VosIzNeias) — The Intercontinental Hotel in Manhattan was filled up with approximately 400 Jews on Tuesday at an event organized to give thanks and generate support for President Trump from the Jewish community.

The event organized by noted philanthropist Louis Scheiner was said to have raised $5 Million for President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign and the Republican National Committee.

The event was emceed by Mr. Kivi Bernard.

The event kicked off with popular Jewish singer Beri Weber performing the national anthem, and the Jewish classic Tov Lehodos.

The “Birchas Hanasi,” a special Blessing dedicated for world leaders was recited by Rabbi Yosroel Reisman, shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Torah Vodaath.

Rabbi YY Jacobson then introduced the President, reciting another bracha for him.

President Trump then took the stage, to cheers of “USA! USA!” and “4 more years!”

Trump’s began his speech with some entertaining banter, including some jokes about the state of the recent Israeli elections. He thanked Mr. Scheiner for organizing the event, and thanked major Jewish philanthropist Mr. Ruby Schron, calling him a “great guy”.

The president then focused his speech on Israel, highlighting his moving of the Israeli embassy to Jerusalem.
