Baltimore, MD - July 22, 2021 - This week, the Baltimore community welcomed a group of Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic boys impacted by serious illnesses for a special Camp Simcha Without Borders session of fun and excitement. Camp Simcha Without Borders is Chai Lifeline’s summer initiative bringing the magic of Camp Simcha to children and communities across the globe. A second girls’ session will take place from August 2 through August 5.

“This a great opportunity for the entire community to experience Simcha,” said Rabbi Simcha Scholar, CEO of Chai Lifeline. “Chai Lifeline is proud to serve more than 100 families in the Mid-Atlantic region and we are delighted to bring joy to children and families here in Baltimore.”

“It’s been a very difficult year for many kids,” said Jack Tabbush, director of Camp Simcha Without Borders. “For children with serious illness, summer—and Simcha—cannot come fast enough.”
