Former President Donald Trump is “seriously” looking at running for the White House in 2024, but he hasn’t yet made up his mind, American Conservative Union Chairman Matt Schlapp said Tuesday, days after Trump’s keynote speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference, which Schlapp’s organization sponsors.

“I had a couple of chances to talk to him,” Schlapp told Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo on “Mornings With Maria.” “I’m careful with confidences, but I don’t think he would have a problem with me saying I think he is seriously looking at it, but I think it’s also true that he hasn’t made up his mind. It’s four years away and a campaign wouldn’t start in earnest for two years.”

He added that he thought Trump’s speech was “great,” and that while he did “settle some scores” and talked about the “wrongdoing around elections,”  the former president “mostly talked about these new coalitions of Republican conservatives.”
