The National Threat Assessment Center of the US Secret Service take part in Wednesday’s event designed to provide threat assessment and mitigation training to Jewish community leaders.

The event, set to be hosted by Memphis, Tennessee, is organized by the Secure Community Network (SCN), a non-profit aiming to provide homeland security initiatives to America’s Jewish community.

It will see psychology experts as well as security professionals advise Jewish leaders on the best ways to spot the red flags and prevent attacks.

“Recognizing potential threats is critical to preventing attacks at our schools, synagogues and community centers,” Michael Masters, SCN chief, is quoted as saying by the Jerusalem Post.
