US President Donald Trump announced late on Monday night that a ceasefire has been reached between Israel and Iran and will enter into effect at 7 a.m. Israel time.
Trump said that Iran will immediately cease attacks and Israel will join the ceasefire on the 12th hour of the agreement. On the 24th hour, both sides will reportedly accept an end to the 12-day war.
"CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!)," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

A federal judge in Tennessee denied the U.S. Department of Justice’s request to keep Kilmar Abrego Garica detained pretrial, but he will likely remain in immigration custody anyway.
The ruling came after a June 13 hearing where Abrego Garcia, a Salvadorian citizen, pleaded not guilty to human smuggling charges stemming from a 2022 traffic stop when Tennessee Highway Patrol suspected human smuggling, but didn’t charge him with anything.
Abrego Garcia was brought back to the United States from El Salvador in early June following a months-long public debate over whether the Trump Administration was going to follow court orders to facilitate his return.

Baltimore, MD - June 23, 2025 - Average gas prices in Baltimore have surged by 17.1 cents per gallon over the past week, reaching an average of $3.17 per gallon, according to GasBuddy's weekly survey of 663 stations in the area.
This marks an increase of 18.0 cents per gallon compared to a month ago, though prices remain 31.3 cents per gallon lower than the same time last year.
Nationally, the average price of gasoline has risen by 9.7 cents per gallon in the last week, now averaging $3.18 per gallon. The national average price of diesel has also seen a significant increase, climbing 16.1 cents to $3.649 per gallon.
