U.S. President Donald Trump was interviewed by Time magazine and claimed that it is possible to reach a nuclear agreement with Iran even without attacking the nuclear facilities.
He stated that he is willing to resort to a military strike if necessary, but is also ready to have a direct conference with Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to avoid war.
Trump was asked about reports that he prevented an Israeli attack in Iran and denied them once again, saying that he did not actually prevent the attack. Trump claims to have limited his involvement to stating that he would prefer a deal instead, and warning Netanyahu that the USA would not be dragged in if Netanyahu decided to start a war.
At the same time, Trump pledged that he would lead the attack if negotiations to prevent I...
Jerusalem, Israel - April 25, 2025 - As previously reported by Chaim V’Chessed, a significant travel update took effect at the start of 2025: all travelers to Israel are now required to complete an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before departure. Without an approved ETA, airlines will not permit passengers to board flights to Israel—with the exception of Israeli passport holders. Even Israeli citizens need an ETA – if traveling on a foreign passport.
With the conclusion of the busy Pesach travel season, many are now returning to Israel after the holiday, while others are arriving for the first time. Whether you’re a seasoned visitor or a newcomer, it is absolutely vital to confirm that you have a valid ETA in hand before traveling.

Baltimore, MD - April 25, 2025 - Maryland counties’ air pollution continues to worsen, especially in Baltimore County, according to a newly published report, which found more ozone, smog and fine particles aloft across the state.
In its most recent “State of the Air” report, documenting air quality data from 2021 to 2023, the American Lung Association found that almost all Maryland counties reported worsening air quality in terms of both ozone smog and fine particle pollution from last year’s report. Of the state’s 24 counties, Maryland reports data on particle pollution in only 11, and high ozone days in 15.
The report said wildfire smoke from Canada in 2023 that moved into the state likely contributed to Maryland’s poorer air quality.

After the tragic deaths of Nadav and Avihu, the Torah records how 'Moshe spoke to Aharon and to Elazar and Isamar, בניו הנותרים — his remaining sons'. (ויקרא י יב)
The emphasis on the obvious — that Elazar and Isamar were now the only children left for Aharon — warrants addressing. (see Rashi)
The highlighting of their being the 'remaining' children appears several verses later when Moshe 'was wrathful with Elazar and Isamar, בניו הנותרים — his remaining sons', for not having partaken from the sin-offering. (שם שם טז)
Why the already evident and previously stated fact?
The holy Avnei Neizer, the first Rebbe of Sochatchov, suggests that this notion of הנותרים — '...

Wikipedia • The Holocaust, known in Hebrew as the Shoah, was the genocide of European Jews during World War II. Between 1941 and 1945, Nazi Germany and its collaborators systematically murdered some six million Jews across German-occupied Europe, around two-thirds of Europe's Jewish population.
Jerusalem, Israel - April 24, 2025 - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today (Thursday, 24 April 2025) [translated from Hebrew]:
"In 1933, my late father-in-law, Shmuel Ben-Artzi, then Shmuel Hahn, left his hometown of Biłgoraj, and via Warsaw, immigrated to the Land of Israel. His father Moshe accompanied him along the way and tried to persuade him in every way not to immigrate to the Land of Israel.
He tried to persuade him by using some of the values he learned at home, which he really loved. He also told him: 'You have nothing over there. What will you do there? Look at what’s right here.'
Shmuel was very conflicted, because on the one Hahnd he really loved his father and his brothers and sisters, especially his twin sister Yehudit. But on the other Hah...
In this week’s Pirkei Avos (1:17), the Mishnah says: “All my days I have been raised among the Sages.”
Rav Elyashiv explains that R’ Shimon uses the words “kol yamai” — “all my days” — to emphasize that throughout his entire life, even after he became the Nasi and the leader of the generation, he still made sure to stay close to Torah scholars. According to this explanation, it makes sense that this Mishnah follows the previous one. The phrase “Asei lecha Rav” — “make for yourself a Rav” — is repeated to teach us that even a great Rav must still seek advice and guidance from another Rav.
I clearly remember learning this lesson from my menahel in Mechinas Ner Yisroel, Rabbi Yosef Tendler, zt&rd...
