Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky is angered over the harsh negative reaction heard from Reform Jewry to US President Donald Trump’s declaration, recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

“The Reform response to the recognition of Jerusalem was terrible,” Sharansky said, and this is coming from a person who has befriended Reform leaders and works to advance their agenda in Israel.

Speaking to Israel Radio, the Jewish Agency leader explained, “Everything that comes out of Trump is bad from their perspective. When the leader of the superpower recognizes Jerusalem, then you first welcome it, and only then offer disagreement. Here it is the opposite.”
