The Israel Electric Company (IEC) is launching a consumption calculator which enables customers to estimate the amount of the electricity bill at any given time, thus managing the electricity expenses during the peak months: summer and winter.

The IEC is currently launching its consumption calculator. The consumption calculator allows the company’s customers to estimate the amount of the electricity bill at any given time, even during the period of consumption, regardless of the production of the bi-monthly invoice.

The calculator provides a solution for customers who want to know the amount of their consumption even during the period of consumption, so that they can enter a meter reading and receive an account evaluation. In doing so, the calculator allows them to manage and plan the power consumption. In addition, the calculator provides a solution for homes and apartments that have a master meter and a number of secondary meters.

IEC spokeswoman Dalia Bodinger says “The calculator is a tool designed to help households manage electricity consumption intelligently so that customers who want to better manage their household expenses on energy, especially during the peak summer and winter months, can do so independently, regardless of the timing of the reading Counter or Produce Account”.

How does the calculator work?

The consumer reads the meter reading appearing on the last invoice and from any date he wishes to begin and then enters the current meter reading. Then a set dates range and received a financial estimate of the expected bill.

The calculator is adapted for cellular phones and is available on the company’s Facebook page and website.
