Security forces' investigation determined the report of a shooting was a false alarm.

Emergency service ZAKA reported a drive-by terror shooting Friday morning near Nahliel, in the western Binyamin region but an investigation by security forces has determined that there was no shooting.

A driver apparently heard a car tire exploding and mistook it for terrorist fire.

Security officers for the Talmonim Bloc, IDF forces and representatives of the Security Department of the Council combed the area where the incident was reported and the road that leads from the Doar Junction to Zayit Raanan and Nerya was closed off for some time.

On Sunday, Arab terrorists fired at an Israeli vehicle traveling past the Jit intersection near Kedumim in Samaria.

The driver, 46, was slightly wounded by shrapnel in his hand, but managed to continue driving to a nearby IDF base, where he was treated by the Ephraim Brigades's medics.

He was later brought by a Magen David Adom ambulance to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, in light condition.

The terrorists, driving a white Fiat Punto with Israeli license plates, fled after the shooting, in the direction of the Gilead junction. IDF forces were conducting searches in the area.
