Downtown office workers and tourists will have another spot to get their caffeine fix.

Filicori Zecchini, a nearly 100-year-old Italian coffee company, will be moving into 1 E. Pratt St. in downtown Baltimore.

The newest shop will occupy the space that previously housed Nature's Table, a soup, salad, wrap and smoothie eatery that closed last June after less than three years in the location. The space has been empty since the closure of Nature's Table.

Filicori Zecchini opened its first U.S. coffee shop in New York City and followed up with its first Maryland location in 2015 as part of the Towson Town Center Mall. The company has not expanded outside of New York or Maryland in the United States, but has retail shops in Canada, Italy, Czech Republic and Romania.

The shop’s roughly 1,700-square-foot space in Baltimore can be accessed through an entrance off Pratt Street next to Kona Grill or by the main lobby. The PNC building sits at the corner of Pratt and Light streets.
