In response to the latest news, that Jared Kushner attempted to set up a secret communications channel with the Kremlin during a meeting with the Russians in December, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) let it be known that he doesn’t really buy any of it.

Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union, Graham was asked by guest host Dana Bash his thoughts, with Bash adding that one-time independent presidential candidate Evan McMullin called the act “treasonous.”

“Number one, we are chasing our tails as a nation when it comes to the Russians,” Graham stated. “I don’t know who leaked this information, but just think about it this way — you’ve got the Ambassador of Russia reporting back to Moscow on an open channel, ‘Hey, Jared Kushner’s going to move into the embassy!'”

He added, “I don’t trust this story as far as I can throw it!”
