Chief Meteorologist Tom Tasselmyer said clear and cold conditions Wednesday that include a wind chill will be followed by a clipper coming in from the Ohio Valley. The clipper will bring light flurries Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.

By Thursday afternoon, the system will move out and skies will clear up, Tasselmyer said. It's possible to get a dusting to 1-2 inches in the region.

With the colder temperatures, roads may be icy for the Thursday morning commute, meteorologist Ava Marie said.

In the meantime, Baltimore City has issued a code blue alert for Tuesday night into Wednesday.
