Tonight is the 28th of Sivan, the yahrtzeit of our beloved mother and wife, Zahava Bas Moshe Abba, a"h, who left us three years ago. For all of those who were close to her, or who were impacted by her, the void that has been left in our lives as a result of her loss is incalculable, and in many ways, it is still very difficult to believe that she is really not here with us. Her legacy of chesed has left a mark on people whose lives were touched by her worldwide. We still hear stories of people whose lives were changed by her, in ways that we were never aware of. In many ways, through the impact of all that she has done for all of us, she still lives on in a very real way.

The family would like to let you know what is being done in her memory, so that you can participate in any way that you can.

Tomorrow, there will be a gathering iy"h at the kever at Eretz Chaim Cemetery in Bet Shemesh, in any of are you in Israel that can come to help make a minyan, it would be greatly appreciated. For information, you may contact Shlomo at 050-550-2822.

Tomorrow night, Yehudi is sponsoring a tznius event, to which dozens of local women donated clothes, so that Yehudi students can purchase tznius clothes for a greatly reduced price. This will encourage them to dress and a modest fashion, which was a hallmark of how Zehava lived her life.

There is also an initiative for all women to take one hour tomorrow, and cut off their phones, and to be with their families without any interruption. So far, over 70 women have committed to make this important commitment, as a recognition of the commitment that Zehava had to her family.

Also, a kiddush zecher nishmas Zahava Bas Moshe Abba is being sponsored by the family at the Miami Beach Community Kollel, to which all are invited to attend. Shacharis is at 8:15 am, and the kiddush will be at approximately 10:30 am.

It would be very meaningful for the family that you all remember our mother and wife over the next 24 hours, when you daven, when you put your children down to sleep, and when you decide to do an act of chesed for another Jew. If you would  like to make a donation in her memory, you may do so for any of the charities that are meaningful to you, or you may make a donation to Yehudi, which was created in memory of Zehava to organize Kiruv events for young professionals and college students in South Florida. Yehudi has an active part in the growth of lives of over 1000 young Jews in our area, and is literally transformed dozens of people in becoming Torah observant Jews.

You can go to www.yehudi.today/donate if wish to make a contribution.

May her neshama have an aliya, and may she continue to inspire us all to be bnei aliya, and to be the best that we can be.
