Five people have been hurt  after an underground steam  explosion occurred underneath a roadway near Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Fire officials said a steam pipe exploded around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday on Eutaw Street between West Lombard and Pratt streets outside the Holiday Inn. Police said no criminal actions are suspected.

Two people were being treated at the scene. There were no serious injuries, fire officials said.

SkyTeam 11 Capt. Roy Taylor said there appears to be damage to the side of the adjacent Holiday Inn hotel, and windows were blown out of the Marriott hotel.

"The damage is so extensive," Taylor said. "The concrete is ripped away and thrown out."

Neither hotel has been evacuated, but people inside both hotels are being told to stay inside.

SkyTeam 11 video shows cars parked along the street covered in dust.

The Fire Department is putting up a safety zone to keep people away as far as 200 feet.

The explosion occurred a few blocks from Oruole Park at Camden Yards.

The incident did not  delay the start of tonight's Orioles-Indians game.
