About the Position

The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore has an immediate opening for an Event Manager. This individual will work closely with lead Development and Marketing professionals for all Associated events. The Event Manager will successfully develop and implement event timelines and work to ensure each event achieves The Associated’s standard of excellence.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Work in partnership with Development and Marketing professionals to ensure appropriate fundraising and messaging is met
•Make recommendations to management and leadership to ensure quality is achieved and reflects the vision of The Associated
•Develop and implement event timelines, as well as, manage each event budget, including corresponding with vendors and negotiating contracts
•Prepare remarks and advise colleagues of timing and appropriate content to include in preparation for each event
•Organize deployment meetings prior to events and work with Development professionals to ensure engagement strategies are incorporated

•Highly adept at handling sensitive and confidential information

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree
•Two to three years’ experience in event planning
•Strong knowledge of and commitment to the mission of The Associated; familiarity with Jewish culture is a plus
