About the Position

The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore is currently looking for a positive, highly motivated, and articulate individual to fill an opening for a Development Associate. The Development Associate will serve a vital part of the Campaign Department, creating and implementing campaign strategies while addressing daily coordination of fundraising efforts. This professional is responsible for strategizing and setting goals with leadership and colleagues to implement programs and affinity based initiatives.

The individual in this position will be responsible for cultivating new donors, engaging volunteers, and increasing campaign dollars through a variety of fundraising initiatives, programs and events. The Development Associate will monitor, analyze and evaluate campaign activity to determine strengths, weakness and opportunities for enhancement. It is vital for this individual to stay on top of advancements and changes that are pertinent to raising money within the community. Individual will also partner with The Associated’s Marketing Department to form effective marketing, communications, and direct mailings.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new database systems

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree
•Two to three years’ experience in fundraising and database management
•Successful track record in providing administrative support and customer service
•Strong knowledge of and commitment to the mission of The Associated; familiarity with Jewish culture is a plus
