About the Position
Special Projects Coordinator
THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore is currently seeking a part-time, contractual individual to assist with the planning of a large conference to take place in Baltimore in November 2012. The Coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment, management and training of hundreds of volunteers. Candidate will also plan lay committee meetings, respond to inquiries about the conference and other administrative responsibilities.
Qualified candidate will have experience in volunteer management, event planning, conferences and meetings coordination, preferably in a non-profit environment. This will be a fast-paced job with increasing demands so candidate needs to be proactive, organized and have the ability to juggle multiple and competing priorities with ease. Candidate will have at least two years of related experience and a bachelorĂ¢€™s degree.
